dim sum....oh yummy, havent had that since.......I went to boston back in august....found a really good resturant (lots of people ....chinese type people, waiting to get in--always a good sign of a good [or really cheap] chinese resturant....)....now I am hungry for some shumai or custard cups or that sponge cake (never have found out the real name for it...but its very good seeing as its made in a bamboo-type steamer!).....

well guess I will just eat the rest of the sushi I got today for my snack now.....sniff sniff....

black friday will be ..... sleeping all day day for me....though I should get over to the halmark store to get my xmas cards (should really send them out before xmas I am told).............

Black Friday will be hectic as usual. Won't go out because it is bad. Duh. Only girls go out for Black Friday here. (Girls in my family) The guys chill at home. Though I think my dad is planning on us going to the range. So that will be fun also.

Turkey day tomorrow. Score.

Red is correct. Biggest shopping day of the year, and the start of the Christmas shopping season.

I think we talked about this last year too...

Just checked the old thread, you guys barely talked about it.

While reading our older posts I remembered the "forbidden semi-deleted talk" xD.
And did Blizzard change his nick to Monarch ? I didn't even notice that.

wouldnt know about last years talk since I was with my mom for her 80th bday.....no where near a computer...

so its late at night the pie crust has been started, the buns are rising and the turkey is in his cold bath in my kitchen sink..... he should be nice an thawed by the time I get up (hubby is going to bed now--I still have to bake all the buns, then I will go to bed, hubby will get up about an hour or so later---he gets to change the bath water!)
Every year I make my rolls all by hand since my recipe is toooo big for even my 5q stand mixer to handle...I have a huge plastic bowl that is just used for these, and my hands and back hurt already (and I have yet to start the turkey!)....ah well I get to relax on friday---I MAY go to hallmark, and then again I might just sleep the whole day.

Ya that is what Black Friday is. People thrive on it and there are some really good deals out there.

Well Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US. Otherwise, happy Thursday to everyone else. oO

Well had to take care of the frogs again today. We did lose one... Bullfrog bit the dust.

Watched all of The Inbetweeners today, was funny as f*ck. Got away with not doing *shudder* colouring for homework so now I have something that will actually challenge my knowledge.

Oh, and Guitar Hero 3 is f*cking hard when you're playing with the controller and unfarmiliar with the shit.

Ya I should start working on my homework at some point but I think I am moving rooms tonight so I am going to wait until I am in my new room...

I have never seen the Inbetweeners, nor do I think I have heard of it. Oo Oh it was made in the UK. Understandable.

I haven't played Guitar Hero in a long time and ya with a reg controller it is hard.

inbetweeners?? think I heard of it, maybe....

neighbors seem to be having a party (and not the kind that you bring your mom and dad too), guess they dont celebrate thanksgiving where ever it is they came from, but seeing as its a holiday in the usa they have the day off....to see how loud they can play their music, great just great.

yeah happy turkey day, some one send me a new pair of ear plugs would'ya!

hi ensoriki, feels kinda weird not saying hi to the last post when you wanted to post after it even thou they are probably not saying hi to you. but anyway, I hope I can post this Secret Recipe here, and welcome back ensoriki. and happy thanks giving to all.

remember there was this famous amous chocolate chips cookie recipees being distributed around the internet, everyone got one at some point or other! well if you read on all the yummy recipee is at the end!

A husband is at home watching a football game when his wife interrupts,
'Honey, could you fix the light in the hallway?
It's been flickering for weeks now.'

He looks at her and says angrily, 'Fix the light? Now?
Does it look like I have a Philips logo printed on my forehead? I don't think so.'

'Well then, could you fix the fridge door? It won't close right.'

To which he replied, 'Fix the fridge door? Does it look like I have Mitsubishi written on my forehead? I don't think so.'

'Fine then,' she says, 'could you at least fix the steps to the front door? They're about to break.'

'I'm not a damn carpenter and I don't want to fix the steps,' he says. 'Does it look like I have Ikea written on my forehead? I don't think so.

I've had enough of you. I'm going out for a drink!!!' So he goes to the neighbourhood Bar and stays there for a couple hours. He starts to feel guilty about how he treated his wife, and decides to go home and help out.

As he walks into the house, he notices the steps are already fixed.
As he enters the house, he sees the hall light is working.
As he goes to get a drink, he notices the fridge door is fixed.

'Honey, how'd all these get fixed?'

She said, 'Well, when you left, I sat outside and cried. Just then a nice young man asked me what was wrong, and I told him. He offered to do all the repairs, and all I had to do was either to bake him a cake or have sex with him.' The husband asked, 'So, what kind of cake did you bake him?' She replied, 'Hellooooo... Do you see SECRET RECIPE written on my forehead?'

Holy #$@%!!! I just came back from shopping, Best Buy was packed. Then I went to an outlet and I shat brax at the amount of cars there. People were parking on the lawns. The Sony store had 2 cops guarding the door and a long line just to get in. I did get some awesome deals on a new sweater and jeans.

Hi Ensoriki, nice to see you again.

But no electronics? FAIL!

So I need to go check on my frogs BUT there is no vehicle at home for me to take! So I have to wait for my mom or dad to get back so I can take a car back to school to take care of them. >.>

I didn't go out today, I don't think anyone in my family did either. We don't like the crazy crowds.
